Lakeville, Minnesota is a suburb of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul and is located in Dakota County.  Lakeville is considered one of the premier cities in the area and is one of the fastest growing areas of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis, and St. Paul.  The city of Lakeville government offices are located at 20195 Holyoke Avenue, Lakeville, Minnesota 55044.  Lakeville is located approximately 23 miles south of Downtown Minneapolis.  There is a small airport located in Lakeville off of Cedar Avenue and 215th St W, which is serviced by the Metropolitan Airports Commission.

Downtown Lakeville, Minnesota is considered the cross streets of Holyoke Avenue and approximately 205th St W. Public transportation exists with a newly created Metro Transit Park and Ride located just south of County Rd 42 on Cedar Avenue.
